August was a fantastic month for our church! Here are some of the highlights:

1. 20% growth from last year’s August attendance.

2. Five people became partners with our Lakepointe family, bringing our total partnership to 114.

3. Three people were baptized in August! That never gets old to see those who have made decisions to follow Christ and to take the next step of obedience in baptism!

4. Our community “Movie Under the Stars” event was a success – over 150 people showed up, two-thirds of them were new people. Great time of connecting with new families within our community!

5. Introduced our new worship leader, Marque Cryderman and his wife, Ashli. They have a 7-month old son, Levi. We are glad to have Marque on our leadership team!

6. We had our first mission trip that came out of our church in August! Eight people went to Iron Mountain, MI to help with a church plant. Our church family gave close to $3000 in financial support to help those who went and to bless the Abundant Life Church in Iron Mountain!

We are building momentum for the upcoming school year and we feel that God is going to do some great things in the next few months!
